My how this month has flown by! It’s amazing that June is almost over and that the year is officially half over! Time flies when you’re having fun…it even flies when you’re not having fun! Go figure! My month has been super busy, with many work changes, vacation, visits from friends and family, late night phone calls with Joyce (ha), youth activities, etc. I’m loving the summer time and the warm weather. Unfortunately our area has been drenched with loads of rain for the past few days and I have desperately missed my hot weather.

To those of you who know me well, you know that I have very fair skin and really wish that I could have a nice tan during the summer. I typically burn badly when I get in the sun and it’s not worth the pain to have a little bit of color on my skin. I will admit that I was given the great gift of three months of tanning bed!!!!! I was so skeptical at first (and may regret my tanning time later in life), but I have REALLY enjoyed my tan and the relaxation that comes with taking it easy for 15-20 minutes a day! My new nickname from my dad is “brownie”…ha! I’m not quite sure why I decided to share this news with the blog world, but I guess I’m so excited about my tan skin! :0)
